@ scott-townes no mater how good you are at your sport, you should ALWAYS wear a helmet. it doesnt matter how good you are at "risk analysis" life changing or even life ending accidents can happen at any time. Look at the bmxer Mike Aitken, or Will Schooler, the skier who died in Nelson. You shouldn, in any way, discourage the use of a helmet. Pinkbike should really delete your Comment and/or your acount for doing this.
i agree with the fact that creative riding is something that there should be more of, but i think that you can still do that with barspins and tailwhips. i would rather see a edit where the rider was skilled even if he didnt do the most creativie trick, then one where the rider just did little peddle slides. not to say im hating on that type of riding, i just think it takes more skill to do a barspin or tailwhip. not trying to hate on anyone.
